SENIOR WOMEN'S FOOTBALL
Season 2021 we launched our first Senior Women's team in the new era. We have not had women's footy at the Bombers since the early 90's.
Our Women's team competed in Division 6 of the Adelaide Football League, finishing fourth in the minor round. We then went on to win both finals and progressed to the Grand Final in our first year! Unfortunately the result didn't go our way, finishing as the runner up for the season.
In 2022 we moved up into Division 3 for our A grade side, The challenge was accepted by the squad as we progressed to another Grand Final ultimately going down by seven points in the premiership match. Season 2022 saw us introduce a women's B grade team which gave many players totally new to the game the opportunity to play this great sport.
This year in 2023 we will only be entering one team due to lack of numbers to field a reserves side.
